On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, delegates will gather at the Tsongas Center in Lowell to adopt a Massachusetts Democratic Party Agenda and/or Platform by majority vote of Convention delegates based upon the recommendation of the Party Agenda or Platform Committee. This year delegates, alternates, and guests will be able to attend the Convention in person.
Prior to this, on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, the Dartmouth Democratic Town Committee (DDTC) will hold a Caucus for the purpose of nominating and electing delegates to the convention.
The DDTC Caucus will be held in person at the Dartmouth Town Hall, Room 304, beginning at 11:59 AM on Saturday, June 10th, 2023. If you are interested in participating in the process, it is strongly recommended that you Pre-Register by eMailing Susan Leclair at sleclair@umassd.edu or calling (508) 997-7616.
Registered and pre-registered Democrats of Dartmouth 16 years of age (by May 23, 2023) or older may nominate, vote and/or be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth age 16 to 35, people with disabilities, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting massdems.org/massdems-convention.
